Below are photos of larvae at different stages of ecdysis.

This is a late 5th instar larva (a prepupa) and has not begun to go through ecdysis.
 
In the video you will be able to see this larva make some initial ecdysis movements. It will eventually split along the dorsal midline (blue dotted line).

This larva has just finished ecdysis and is now a pupa. Insects are pupae after ecdysis.

This larva is in most of the way through ecdysis. The blue arrows in the bottom 3 figure point to the cast-off larval cuticle.

This larva is just finishing.
